Handmade soaps, grass-fed tallow products, and more
Welcome to Linen & Logs Shop! We offer handcrafted artisan soaps made in small batches. Linen & Log Soaps are made with high-quality tallow (beef fat) or homegrown lard (pig fat).
We use animal fats in our handmade soap to make a hard, rich and creamy bar of soap – made just for you. By using only natural ingredients, essential oils, and infused oils (or unscented) in our small batches of soaps, we can ensure that a quality bar of soap has been made just for you.
Our cold-processed soaps are cured for a minimum of 4 weeks. We recommend using a draining soap dish or holder between uses to dry your bar of soap and extend its life.

Natural Ingredients
Our products use natural ingredients, such as grass-fed tallow, organic butters and oils, and natural clays, essential oils or infused oils, no artificial fragrances or colorants.
Using Tallow in Soap
Tallow is rendered form of beef fat and creates a rich, creamy lather while being mild and gentle on the skin. It makes a long-lasting bar of soap. Tallow has been used in soap making for centuries.
Using Lard in Soap
Lard is a rendered form of pig fat and creates a mild and gentle bar of soap. Lard soap also has a rich, creamy lather, is very affordable and makes a very high-quality bar of soap.
Who should use handmade soap?
Everyone! Our handmade soap is gentle enough for all to use, and because we use essential oils, infused oils, or unscented – there is something for everyone.
How do we make Handmade Soap?
We use a process called cold-process. We mix our tallow, lard, oils and butters with lye (sodium hydroxide) which causes a chemical reaction to become soap.
When can we use handmade soap?
You can use Linen & Logs Soap as soon as you receive it. We allow our soaps to cure for a minimum of 4 weeks before we send them to customers.
