why handmade soap?
I started making handmade soap after my baby had eczema…
Have you ever felt helpless and not known what to do next? That is how I felt after having my 4th baby, and he had eczema. The store bought creams and potions were just not helping, and wanted to try something different.

Explore Our Methods

Natural Ingredients
Our products use all-natural ingredients, such as grass-fed tallow, organic butters and oils, and natural clays, essential oils, or infused oils, with no artificial fragrances or colorants.

Using Tallow in Soap
Tallow is rendered form of beef fat and creates a rich, creamy lather while being mild and gentle on the skin. It makes a long-lasting bar of soap. Tallow has been used in soap making for centuries.

Using Lard in Soap
Lard is a rendered form of pig fat and creates a mild and gentle bar of soap. Lard soap makes a very rich, creamy lather, is very affordable and makes a very high-quality bar of soap.

Who should use handmade soap?
Everyone!
Our handmade soap is gentle enough for all to use, and because we use, all-natural products, essential oils, infused oils, or unscented – there is something for everyone.

How do we make Handmade Soap?
We use a process called cold-process. We mix our tallow, lard, oils and butters with lye (sodium hydroxide + water) which causes a chemical reaction to become soap. To Note – There is no lye left in the soap after the saponification process.

When can we use Linen and Logs Soap?
You can use Linen & Logs Soap as soon as you receive it. We allow our soaps to cure for a minimum of 4 weeks before we send them to customers. This allows the saponification process to finish
and cure properly.
