Linen and Logs Soap is an all-natural, handcrafted soap made in small batches and hand-cut.

Each soap bar weighs between 4 and 5 oz.

Benefits of Using Handmade Soap

Why use handmade soap?

Linen & Logs uses real, all-natural ingredients in their handmade products. Rachel renders tallow herself (sourced from small family farms), and purchases high-quality ingredients like organic shea butter and organic coconut oil.

Linen & Logs uses essential oils with appropriate quantities in their products. There are no artificial fragrances. This may mean that the essential oil scents can fade over time, so it is perfect reason to use the products as they are meant to be used.

Linen & Logs uses natural colorants in their soaps. Natural clays and powders make beatiful colors with no artificial colorants.

Linen & Logs makes handmade soap using a technique called Cold-Process Soap Making. This is the process of mixing fats and oils with a lye and water mixture. Once the chemical reaction occurs (saponification) there is no lye remaining in the soap. Linen & Logs Soaps are set aside and allowed to cure for a minimum of 4 weeks before being listed for sale.
